The STORIES

These are our stories. What are yours?

Everybody has a story to tell. So do we. Multiple, actually, and you can check them out on this page. We would like to make your story ours as well, so tag #OYESTER on Instagram and tell us what’s up!

HEY RESTAURANT OWNERS, SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT

As a proud supporter of the Surfrider Foundation, we are more than enthusiastic about their great new programme. The Ocean Friendly Restaurants-programme gives restaurants the opportunity to start making sustainable decisions that support the ocean in an easy and effortless way. Plastic pollution does not only suffocate our ocean and the beautiful animals that live in it, but it also poisons our own food sources. It’s time for action, and the action starts with YOU. One restaurant and one customer at the time. Let’s increase awareness, stimulate change and make an impact. Click on the link to read more and subscribe! https://www.surfriderfoundation.nl/ofr

Dry January? How about a Dry Martini?

Close and kick off

Close and kick off

2020. A memorable year to all of us. We sure hope the world will get a grip on this horrible pandemic and things will slowly but surely start to get better soon. Let’s try to find the familiar in the abnormal and enjoy, close and kick off 2021 properly. Preferable with a good drink. We’ve got some really exciting things coming up so stay tuned. For now, wishing you nothing but the best for ‘21. Cheers!

Celebrate life, celebrate the ocean

Celebrate life, celebrate the ocean

We are more than proud to be an official supporter of the Surfrider Foundation. The Surfrider Foundation is an international organisation that is dedicated to make a change regarding the protection of the ocean, the coastline, the waves and the beaches. As OYESTER shares their passion for maritime life and everything related to it, we decided to team up. In order to support the foundation’s campaigns and events, we donate a fixed fee per sold OYESTER Maritime Hard Seltzer can. Celebrate life while celebrating the ocean – do we need to say more?

Shake it, Chris!

Founder Chris took part in a show hosted in Zeeland, where he revealed three amazing cocktail recipes with our vodka based on the province. Check it out!

Why we decided to create our own hard seltzer

Why we decided to create our own hard seltzer

After finding out about the successful summer of seltzer in the US, where seltzers are extremely popular, the idea to create our own hard seltzer emerged. We noticed that many existing seltzers use single fruit flavours, which we considered a waste, and this is the reason why we decided to make our own ones. One of the best decisions ever! We created two varieties of seltzers with exciting blends, vibrant flavours and unique colours that will lighten up your day. Try for yourself!

#SUPPORTYOURLOCALSNL

#SUPPORTYOURLOCALSNL

Today, the government of the Netherlands has announced an intelligent lockdown that will start tomorrow. OYESTER wants to wish everyone strength in the coming period, since some things will probably not be going the way you wished, wanted or planned. Look after each other, follow the rules and don’t forget to support your favourite local restaurants and bars by ordering food to take to- or receive at home. They need you now! Stay strong, stay healthy and stay safe.

Oesterkrakers’ ft. Oyester44

André Linting, the face behind the “Oesterkrakers”, wrote an article about Oyester44 vodka on his website. He shows his enthusiasm for our vodka by telling his community about it and by serving the vodka with his oysters in the empty oyster shells. Thanks a lot, André!

Blue monday? No problem!

Blue monday? No problem!

Today it is Blue Monday, which is generally known as the most depressing day of the year. That’s a bit exaggerated, isn’t it? We can probably all think of someone we love, something we feel lucky for or happy about. We, for example, see Blue Monday as a reminder of the blue shade we use for OYESTER44’s improved labels. We feel grateful and proud of this new look, that comprehends the world famous Dutch “Delft Blue’ colour, new fat inked glossy letters and luxury silk paper that you can’t stop touching. You can find these beauties on the shelves from now on, but more importantly for you today: find your inner happiness to conquer this Monday. It will be Tuesday before you know it.
